Project summary
In the European Union and Nordic countries, a common challenge faced by young people is the lack of relevant work experience, limited employment opportunities and skills mismatches. The problem with unemployment is particularly acute in less competitive regions, such as South Estonia and rural areas in Finland. In these areas many young individuals have practical skills in the creative fields, but struggle to transform this passion into sustainable and durable business.
The main activity of the Creative Bridge project is an entrepreneurship training program, the goal of which is to encourage young people under the age of 25 to work in entrepreneurship. Two 4-month training programs will be held in the project, which will provide the participants with knowledge and skills to operate in the business world. With a training program focusing on the development of design entrepreneurship, the aim is to increase the important skills and knowledge of young people, which are necessary to enter entrepreneurship with their own ideas.
The project is funded by the EU Interreg Central Baltic Programme.
