Leap4Growth

Project summary

Leap4Growth aims to help SMEs in the Central Baltic region overcome the obstacles they face expanding into the Southeast Asia markets. It will utilize the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and Vietnam as strategic gateways to access different markets within Southeast Asia. The targeted SMEs are within the Greentech and Healthtech sectors, focusing on those in Tech and Deep-Tech fields such as digitalization, ICT, and AI. The aim of the project is to secure 20 new sales contracts. Secondary objective is to foster cross border collaborations between the countries for on-boarded SMEs, partners and local organizations.

The project supports SMEs by identifying suitable markets through in-depth analysis and by establishing a strong support network that includes business organizations, experts, and regional authorities. Key activities include mentoring, webinars, and market delegations, which will give participating SMEs direct market exposure and valuable networking opportunities. SMEs will also benefit from cross-border cooperation among Baltic countries, as well as from events organized by Southeast Asian partners in the Central Baltic region and international events, such as Slush.

A multi-channel communication strategy will help ensure strong visibility and the sharing of success stories. The project is delivered by partners from Estonia, Finland, Latvia, and Sweden, drawing on their collective expertise and history of collaboration.

The project is funded by the EU Interreg Central Baltic Programme.

The Baltic Institute of Finland coordinates project management in this initiative together with the project partner, Business Tampere.
